Patient Chart is the health record layer that patients own and control. Records are encrypted client-side before storage -- no server ever sees unencrypted PHI. The append-only architecture ensures a complete, tamper-evident history. FHIR-compatible structure means records can be read by standard healthcare systems. Patient Chart connects only to Patient Core, ensuring that health record access always flows through proper patient consent and authentication.
